My work in photography and mixed media has concerned itself with looking at image making as a poetic process. A plastic process that uses images drawings, paintings, objects locations and other kinds of graphic information as elements that are combined in my images. Primarily my work concerns itself with the inter-connectivity of human society.The Murals for the Juvenile Courthouse in Sacramento California are titled : Navigate your dreams through Mathematics and Music. The images are long meditations on elements through-out history that are meant to inspire the youths there to look elsewhere in their lives for inspiration. The images are hung in large

waiting rooms where the youths remain, often for hours, so my intention was to make them very visually active to keep their attention.
